I’m back with the songs I currently listen to on repeat! It’s the female K-Pop edition too! It feels like every time I turn around I have more Korean music downloaded. I’m pretty sure the songs multiply when I’m not looking! That’s ok, because I am really enjoying discovering new bands, new songs by bands I already follow, and rediscovering songs I love. These songs are all the first that drew me to each group. Let’s get right into the songs for this mini album!
It has been ages since I’ve talked about my growing obsession with Korean Music. I’m not as ‘in the know’ as a lot of fans are, but I’m quite enjoying my journey. Despite not being up on all the new music as it drops, I do enjoy falling down the Korean Music hole on YouTube.
It is probably no surprise to other lovers of the K-Ent world that as I continue on this journey my music collection seems to grow when I’m not looking. Seriously, I turn around and I’ve got another ten songs! So let me introduce you to the songs I’m currently listening to on repeat!
Welcome to my first edition of Noona’s Playlist. I think it is somewhat natural as you delve into Asian Dramas to also be attracted to the music as well. For now my exploration into music has been within Korean music, but I’m sure as I discover more about what I like I’ll venture into music from other countries.
The world of Kpop is still mostly a mystery to me. When I watched Boys Over Flowers I discovered that my heartbreaking and lovely Kim Hyun Joong was not only a talented actor but a singer! So I bought a song by the group he was in SS501. But then I didn’t go back to the Kpop world for a long time.
Then I read a post about T.O.P. and his new solo debut song Doom Dada on Krazy for Kdrama. The video was… weird. However, I fell head over in heels in Noona love with T.O.P.
Of all my Dongsaeng’s so far I don’t know if you can get more cute than Lee Ki Kwang! I mean he’s just so squishy and adorable and his smile just makes me giggle. No matter where his sunshiny face appears it just makes me happy on so many levels. The utter amazing adorableness cannot be denied!
The New Year is Upon Us! With it I’ve decided that I’d like to set myself some goals for my drama watching ventures in the coming year. I joined the amazing world of Asian Dramas on April 17, 2013. Since then I’ve just sort of bounced around to dramas with very little rhyme or reason. Not that it hasn’t been fun! However, there are some dramas that I really want to be sure that I watch and some things I want to do. So what better time than New Years to set a resolution for how I’ll approach my drama watching in 2014.
